Dear Advice Guy,
I have a new 11 week old puppy who insists on peeing and chewing on everything. What do I do about the mold in my shower?

Thanks,
J.M. from SFO

Dear J.M. from SFO
Since your request for advice fails to fit neatly into any of the four categories available (I believe we were quite clear about the areas in which we are qualified to advise) we are unable to include our normal "guarantee of effectiveness." You have also, somewhat presumptuously, included two (2) questions in your communication. Pretty tricky.

Well, luckily (and remember NO GUARANTEES) both of your problems can be solved with a household spray bottle (try using and old Windex or Fantastic sprayer) and a quart of undiluted ammonia. Spray the affected surfaces of your shower and let sit for five (5) minutes. While you're waiting locate your puppy's eyes and apply a generous portion of the solution. That should give him something to think about the next time he decides to soil your favorite rug.

Good luck and keep in touch.
